Modern Construct's Principal Architect, Michael Cook, AIA, has designed and remodeled numerous mid-century modern homes over the past 20 years.
We have extensive experience in how to appropriately remodel classic modern structures in a manner that preserves the original design intent,
yet updates these spaces to present standards.

In addition, our mid-century expertise extends to interior design helping clients by selecting appropriate furniture, art, artifacts, materials,
and color selections that compliment these houses. We also design and construct furniture for these homes. Some mid-century modern
architects' houses Michael Cook has remodeled include John Lautner, Richard Neutra, A. Quincy Jones, and Charles Goodman.

Michael Cook owns two Charles Goodman homes in the historic Maryland neighborhood of Hammond Wood.
